White belt gradings demonstrate correct execution and understanding of basic techniques and are taken 6-8 weeks after training has begun. This varies depending on a student’s ability.
Depending on a student’s attendance and level of ability it will take between 3 and 5 years to earn a Black Belt in KAPAP Krav Maga.
Yellow belt gradings demonstrate correct execution and understanding of basic techniques and are taken 6-12 weeks after training has begun. This varies depending on a student’s ability.
Orange Belt through to Brown Stripe gradings are generally every 3 months.
Black Belt gradings can only be taken at least 6 months after achieving a Brown Stripe Belt. The Chief Instructor will decide when a student is ready to grade for their Black Belt.
National Recognition:
The Trinity Martial Arts syllabi for Kids Kickboxing Classes and Krav Maga & Self Defence Classes are ratified by our governing bodies, the BMABA and IKA-UK, so student’s can rest assured that their gradings and the earning of their belts are nationally recognised.
